Early 20th century silver band ring from Southern
Ethiopia. It has a minimalist, almost industrial aesthetic that doesn’t
appear very often in African antiques. The ring is unisex and looks
wonderful worn stacked. It is in excellent condition given its age and
origin. There is a small ‘hole’ or irregularity on one side of the decorative knob at the top of the ring (see photos). These silver rings are increasingly difficult to source and each
piece is unique. The last photo shows how it can look to wear them stacked – not the item for sale.
